Methodist Men Bible Studies
Friday Morning Breakfast
Every Friday morning in the Christian Life Center, from 6:30 to 7:30, men gather for a bacon and egg breakfast, fellowship and discussion on topics of the day. We are an informal bunch and regular attendance is not required. The only requirement is that each man be willing to cook one Friday on a rotational basis about two times a year. We cook in teams of two or more. If you enjoy fellowship, singing a hymn (or just humming it), discussing topics of the day over coffee and occasionally cooking a breakfast, this Friday Morning Breakfast is the place for you.
True Grit Men’s Bible Study
True Grit is a Men’s Bible study seeking to address the issues facing men today as they seek to grow in their faith. We meet every Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m. in room N156. We have an open format with opportunities for discussion. We focus mainly on reading scripture and discussing the meaning of the text and how it relates to our lives. This is a continuing study group and we encourage men to participate whenever their schedules allow, and try to structure the format so that no one feels lost or behind if they miss a week or so.
